St. Patricks Day

St. Patrick's Day is a religious holiday celebrated on March 17th. The tradition started from the instigation of the irish protestant organization, The Knights of St. Patrick. The first parade took place on March 17, 1783. People wear green to celebrate St. Patrick, however the original color that was associated with St. Patrick was blue. People changed it over the years to green.
